about us |
|---|
First of all, we want to congratulate you
on having a look at our website. League is a Geneva-based independent design studio
that Aurélie Vogt, Tony Casimo and Alex Wall Dujet set up in
2007. We studied together and graduated in 2006 from CFP AA Design School of Geneva where
we work today in the graphic design department.
League is interested in exploring the idea of contemporariness
and creating topnotch graphic designs to reflect our time.
Our
team answers any request that requires a full communication
service or just an attractive visual.
Our know-how produces wildly innovative,
and sometimes
unconventional, creative solutions. Our proposals are workable,
rational and the most possible appropriate.
Commissioned
projects, ranging from corporate identities for commercial firms
or cultural institutions to brand development, apply to various
fields, among them industry, architecture, editorial, fashion,
and music. Since we keep trying to increase our activities in
other fields, we attempt to improve our skills in graphic designs
and typography by designing our own fonts and projects that
break new ground.
We have chosen to set up this collective
mainly to work in team.
We believe it’s important to gather several points of view in
order to bring out the best. We thus collaborate with external
talents such as web programmers, illustrators, writers, printers,
photographers, photolithographers, etc., to best achieve every
project. Since the beginning of 2009 we’ve worked and shared
our studio with our cooperative friends Sigma6. check out the
Sigma6 website by clicking — here
We should thank here everyone who contributed to our studio
League, especially our friends and family for their ongoing
support. We also wish to express our gratitude to some tea-
chers who have trusted us ever since we completed our first
project. Finally, we’d like to thank the people we've met over
the last eight years, students, fellow designers, our clients,
and those who would recognize themselves in these lines.
We hope that you’ll be able to navigate on this website easily
to check our recent news and current activities.
The website is divided in six sections. When you reach the
homepage you’ll find a fixed top navigation bar that allows you
to select from six headings. Then whatever heading you click
on the navigation bar hovers over the pages so that you avoid
too much scrolling and quickly go from one page to another.
You can expect the mood of the homepage to change from
timeto time. Find below an explanation of the main
sections:
1/ The "news" page is updated on a regular basis according to
our activities and sometimes shows what we enjoy.
2/ The "works" section is the core of this website. The menu
onthe left classifies our projects according to the year. The
central table shows a black and white preview of our works
that enables to pick
up one straight away.
3/ You can find our own fonts in the "fonts" section.
4/
The "shop" is currently under construction, it comes soon.
5/
The "about" section is the page you are reading right now.
6/ Finally, the "myspace" heading links to our Myspace account.
